Ascend Cargo Systems is building an all‑in‑one, agentic logistics platform for small and mid‑sized freight teams. We’re a fast‑moving early‑stage startup, and we’re looking for someone who can help us level up our testing discipline as we scale.
As we continue to innovate, we’re looking for a Automated Engineer Intern to join our talented engineering team immediately. This internship offers hands-on experience working on both the front-end and back-end of a cutting-edge platform, helping us shape the future of logistics and supply chain technology.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and maintain automated test suites using Selenium or equivalent frameworks
- Work closely with engineering to validate new features and catch regressions early
- Create clear test plans and document edge cases
- Help improve our CI/CD test coverage and reliability
- Identify gaps in our current testing approach and propose practical solutions
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools
- Continuing MS in CS or related field from top tier program in the United States
- Strong understanding of automated testing best practices
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced startup environment
- Ability to think through workflows and spot issues before they hit production
- Clear communication and a bias toward action
